CFS Promo

I think I finished this 5AM the other day but I wanted to wait to upload it. However, I ended up shopping today so I guess this isn't the most ideal time to upload this but whatever. You know how long it has been since I have put dedication into art? I've just been doing pixels lately. It feels good. Maybe I can actually draw the stuff I'm supposed to. Anyway- the title is pretty self explanatory, ye? Crafted From Stars Promotional Art. Officially Skitty endorsed group. Go join! When it opens, anyway. I've been doing a couple IRL paintings and I gotta say that doing skies are difficult. Starry ones especially but this turned out spiffy.

I usually cheat and use an in SAI texture for starry skies but this time I ended up using multiple references of space. As much as I love stars I'm not sure I'd ever put this much effort into another sky for a long time. I was an idiot and did the background first and then was left with trying to do the cat. I didn't want to mess up my beautiful and maybe 5 hour effort background so I shaded the cat into it. I know the little buggers are made of stars but this was maybe a bit too literal. Looks nice though, yeah?
